This Cookie Policy explains how Supercompany AS ("we", "our" or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the public website at trale.ai. It covers the website only. How we process personal data when you use the Trale service itself is described in our Privacy Policy. Privacy Policy
Supercompany AS is the controller for the data described here. We follow the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act (ekomloven), the Norwegian Personal Data Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They can be first party (set by trale.ai) or third party (set by another company's domain when its content loads on our pages).
We also use browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which works like a cookie but is only readable by the site that wrote it and is never sent to a server automatically.
A tracking pixel is a small script or image that reports a page visit to a third party. The Meta Pixel described below is one example. Ekomloven treats all of these the same way as cookies, so this policy does too.
Strictly necessary cookies and storage are exempt from the consent requirement in ekomloven section 3-15 because the website cannot work without them. Where they involve personal data, we rely on our legitimate interest in running a functioning website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Every other cookie and storage item is set only after you have given consent in our cookie dialog (ekomloven section 3-15 and GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Nothing in the functional, analytics or marketing categories loads before you choose, and choosing "Reject all" is as easy as choosing "Accept all".
You can withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future, through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer or the button in section 5. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
Required for the site to work: remembering your language and your cookie choices, and small interface preferences. These do not identify you and are not shared with anyone.
Powers the Intercom chat widget in the bottom corner. Intercom sets identifier cookies so that a conversation can continue across pages and visits. Without this consent the chat widget does not load, but you can still reach us at contact@trale.ai.
We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand how the site is used: pages visited, clicks, time on page and, with session replay, an anonymised recording of how you move through a page. All form input is masked before it leaves your browser. Analytics data is not used for advertising and is not sold.
We use the Meta Pixel to measure whether our advertising on Facebook and Instagram brings visitors to the site, and to reach visitors again on those platforms. Meta may combine this data with your Meta account if you have one.
The tables below list every cookie and storage item the site sets, by category. Names containing an asterisk are prefixes: the full key includes a project identifier.

The first time you visit, a dialog lets you accept all, reject all, or choose per category. You can reopen it at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or with the button below, and change or withdraw your choices. We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if we start using new cookies that need consent.
When you withdraw consent, we stop the related tools immediately: PostHog opts out and clears its identifiers, the Intercom widget shuts down and removes its cookies, and the Meta Pixel is told to stop sending events. Cookies already set by facebook.com can only be removed through your browser.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working, for example the language choice.
You can control how Meta uses data from websites in your Meta account's ad settings and "Off-Facebook Activity" tool.
Where the data described here is personal data, you have the rights set out in GDPR Articles 15 to 22: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise them, contact us at the address in section 9.

We update this policy when we add, remove or change a cookie or tool. The date at the top shows the latest revision. If a change means new consent is needed, the cookie dialog will appear again.
